Beautiful Boy!

What a gift Dreamkeeper Goldens has given us in our boy Titus! The son of Swedish & Canadian Champion Dream Max Jorgen Brink ("Simson") and Canadian Champion Shining Gold Kewin's Legacy ("Sophie"), Titus is the son of English royalty. His pedigree is literally filled with champions and includes Multi-Champion Blakesley Cromwell, who holds 59 titles and was winner of the Iron Coin (3 years in a row) and the Stenbury Trophy (4 years in a row).

However, aside from his stellar pedigree, it is Titus' temperament that has us smitten with him. He is an unbelievably gentle and sweet boy. Each of our dogs has its "trademark", and there's no question that Titus has his: he stands directly in front of any willing human, tips his head directly up to look into their eyes, presses his chin into their knees and grunts! He will stand like this far longer than any human back can endure, dead still, soaking up the petting and scratching like it's warm sunshine. In short, he is a cuddler.

He is also a gentleman. Like his mother, Titus stands back and patiently waits for affection, for the tennis ball, even for his food. (However, he makes the strangest sounds as he waits for the release to eat, smacking his lips together and pressing his ears so tightly against his head that he looks like a seal!). He absolutely does not jump for attention nor nip, and he is incredibly eager to please. He is a delight in the house, quick to lay down and take a nap from the moment he walks in. Even as a puppy, he never chewed on the furniture or exhibited classic "puppy" behaviors. He is just an easy-going, relaxed, wonderful companion and is treasured in our family.

Physically, Titus is a lovely example of an English Golden Retriever. His Swedish lines distinguish his look, giving him great substance in his legs and a regal head. His coat is fantastically soft and a gorgeous cream color. As I always tell people, there is technically no such thing as a white golden retriever, even in the English Golden Retriever lines. However, Moses and Titus both bear such light coats that it's hard to describe them as anything else! His coat is also quite flat with very little curl. He possesses a wonderfully handsome headset and based on his parents, he couldn't help but grow into a breathtaking guy!

While we are both humbled and excited to have such a spectacular boy in our breeding program, even more, we are grateful to have such a wonderful addition to our family. We love our boy Titus!
